Easy Homemade Chocolate Fudge Brownies

Growing up I never made homemade brownies because we were a boxed brownie type of family, add vegetable oil, eggs, and water, and boom brownies. I got inspired to make homemade chocolate fudge brownies during the pandemic when I freaked out in the baking aisle and basically grabbed one of everything and had cocoa powder fever. I hope you enjoy it and tell me how you like the recipe.

The Prep

Preheat the Oven at 350 degrees.

Line a baking dish with 1 Tbsp of butter so that the finished brownies don’t stick.

In a small pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar and the granulated sugar once the butter is melted. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Do not let it boil.

In a mixing bowl, combine the cocoa powder with the melted butter/sugar mixture.

Add eggs, salt, baking powder, and vanilla. Beat on medium until everything is mixed together.

Slowly start adding in your flour and mix until everything is just combined.

Stir in the chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into your baking pan and cook for 30 minutes. Let cool for 10-15 minutes. Eat with ice cream or enjoy it on its own.
